What is Hemp?
Hemp comes from the same plant family as marijuana, but its fibers are used for pure strength rather than for the psychoactive effects. The plants can grow up to 4 meters and because the plant grows so densely and quickly, it requires no pesticides and very little water.
Why Hemp?
Hemp fiber is one of the strongest natural fibers on Earth. It grows to maturity in just 3-4 months. And we keep the best for last, it is a carbon-negative plant. Yes, carbon-negative. One hectare of hemp can absorb up to 15 tons of CO₂. That's why we are so positive about it!
How do we use it?
We mix the hemp fibers with natural lime and water to make Hempcrete. This Hempcrete mix doesn’t just sit there — it breathes and carbonates over time to become extremely durable. We are dedicated to revolutionize the world of furniture with this incredible material.
